congratulation to GMI and PAS for making this demo successful. having said that, where are the chinese? more than 95% of the demonstrators are the malays.

i guess those brave sisters wearing full hijab and those brave brothers wearing skull caps are much more worthy than most of the chinese who just sit in front of their laptops pretending that they care about this country

Yes Hatta waqs undoubtedly one of the many heroes!!...but, where were the DAP foot soldiers?
The opposition Alliance was in this together, "One Spirit and One Voice!"
I must say, I admire PAS supporters, they are the committed lot. Action speaks louder thand words.

The Polis truly showed who is unruly in this country yesterday. Make no mistake we hold no grudge with the honest and hard-working police officers who are risking their lives on a daily basis for our safety. Whom we are deeply angry with are their highly-paid bosses who sit in air-cond offices all-day and travel in chauffeured-driven luxury cars. Those who fail all their KPIs and refuse the IPCMC because they have a lot to hide. Those who authorised shooting on peaceful Malaysian protesters yesterday.

Soon we'll see the end of it, here is what I want to say about yesterday:

Bravo Malaysians.
Yesterday Malaysians of all ethnic and religious backgrounds, both genders and all skin colours, walked together on a matter of national policy. This was simply beautiful.
I was there. I saw black-clad Malaysian Chinese shared light moments with tudung-clad Malaysian Malay ladies, brave Unit Amal members gave salt (against tear gas) to Hindraf supporters. That's why BN is so enraged. Malaysians built history together yesterday, as they did in the Hartal and the PUTERA-AMCJA people's constitution days. Malaysians have a history together, though it has been hidden to them for decades. They just proved they will build a future together!
Hidup Malaysia!

1 Black Malaysia. Democracy First. Elections Now.

Not sure why "anonymous@10.39" asked 'wheres the Malaysian Chinese ?"
Maybe it was due to several locations of protest in the city area.
Perhaps this short video footage which shows Malaysian Chinese and Malaysian Indians joining the GMI protest might be able to answer the question posted by anon.

we should be more well trained and equipped next time.
btw, i don't support YBs to get involved in this sorta march. they should fight for us in parliment and dewan rakyat and get us out as soon as possible from the the evil polis detention.
we both fight for the same goal, but in different arenas.

DAP & PAS should work together more.

Whoever those idiots are in that pix......

I hope they end up DEAD. It's a terrible shame for these idiots to cause unnecessary traffic chaos to road users for a stupid reason of handing a memorandum to the palace. Don't these donkeys know we have something call LETTER??? Can they post it instead???

Dear Tony, I hope your intention of this article is NOT to praise those idiots who took their stupid actions to the streets yesterday.

The PDRM & FRU should have just kill these idiots!!! Kasi BUNUH KAW-KAW & thus, we Malaysians NO LONGER have to face stupid traffic jams similar to yesterday.

"Where are the Chinese??"

Guess the Chinese are more kia si, hiding in their homes.. but in all likelihood they will show their protest in their vote later. The Chinese are quiet quiet but sinister bunch.

Tony, hello.

I consider the cheap, sexist remark made here by denzook to be in very bad taste and therefore, unacceptable to post here in the public blog of an elected reputable politician.

It is a nasty veiled attack on Hannah and Jenice, and on all women in general.

I trust that you will see fit to remove it from here.

Thank you for your time and for listening.
