Bukit Melawati, 22nd August 2007: Despite his patriotic stand, he will soon be stripped of his citizenship and banished to another country. Perhaps, our monkeys were already doomed when people in authority likened bloggers to them. The Cabinet has literally signed their death warrant by withdrawing protection for the so-called urban monkeys under the Wildlife Protection Act. How can we stand tall as a nation, when we so casually shrugged-off our responsibility to protect the weak and defenseless? Continue reading the monkey's plight here.

At least the monkey in the picture shows more loyalty than most malaysians here by holding the national flag

I don't understand the concept of many Malaysians associating holding, displaying or buying flags with patriotism and loyalty..

You will not fail to spot many taxis with flags on the car rooftop but most taxi drivers continue to rip off tourist and local passengers alike. If they are loyal and patriotic, they will not leave tourists with bad impression of Malaysia.

If our civil servants are loyal and patriotic, why is there rampant corruption?

Why are races insulting each other alike?

Certainly monkeys are certainly more loyal than we humans.. But don't associate their loyalty with holding flags, that is plain insult..
