Kerishamuddin Warns MCA

I know that most of my readers probably don't read the Berita Harian. But here's the headlines on the frontpage of the paper today (yes, for once, go get your copy) - it says: "Amaran Kepada MCA". UMNO Youth Chief, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein fired the warning.

Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein wasn't the only one showing MCA the yellow card. Even political has-been, Tan Sri Muhammad Muhd Taib has his say:

MCA spent tonnes of cash in the last 3 to 4 general elections in Malaysia falsely demonising the Democratic Action Party as supporting an Islamic State, when the party has in fact been the most consistent and vociferous supporter of a secular state.

It waits to be seen if MCA will prove themselves as hypocrites and once again submit to their UMNO masters. We can only conclude that MCA is fully supportive of the UMNO Islamic State as proclaimed by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, if they were to maintain their elegant silence henceforth. The above will only prove that the almighty President of MCA, is subservient even to the UMNO Youth Chief.

I wonder which political party is it that is without principles. What a absolute disgrace.

These should be the issues which must define the upcoming general election, not when the roads get tarred or electric supply gets connected.

If only more people are able to be exposed to both sides of the story. The opposition needs to do a better job in educating the masses in this respect.

you know, its all a sandiwara to show UMNO is the boss. there are certain factions within the party that thinks UMNO is being to nice and kind to MCA, by giving schools, aid etc to the chinese.

so i reckon, what hisham is doing is just to reinforce the supremacy of UMNO over the rest of the coalition members. i bet you theres nothing the MCA leaders will do or say about this provocation. buat tak tau only.

Islamic state again.... It is an old product with new packaging... Waste of rakyat's energy and effort to read all these news......

So boring, so tiring of all this, telinga banyak penat-lah....................

Can our so call leaders be more innovative, talk on something new, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee???

Since everyone in UMNO are saying Malaysia is a Islamic state than Sabah and Sarawak will have to be given independent. When we are part of Malaysia in 1963 we did not join a Islamic state and for that simple reason Sabah and Sarawak should withdraw from Malaysia. Good bye Malaysia.

thats what you call power sharing. in life, I guess sometimes things are more unequal than others.
I dont expect these MCA fellows to even squeak after this. They have probably all gone hiding with their tails behind their legs.
Well, MIC is smarter and follows the country's numero uno style. ELEGANT SILENCE.
Tony, why dont you keep this and reprint thousand of copies come election time as a reminder to the voters who is promulgating Malaysia as an Islamic State. And who are their sleeping partners in this case.

The reason why UMNO becomes more arogant over the years is because a lot of quaters just kept quite on these so called "sentitive" issues. To come to such effect, we have to thank Pak Najib's father for his succesful coup d'etat against the democratic government led by Tunku then.

513 has became a shadow in everyone's mind, a dark one, which is why no one has the courage to go against the self-proclaimed supremacy of UMNO (Malay). The reason? They do not want to see such incident from happening to their social groups again, and i actually salute their tactics.

When the time comes, all we have to do is just leave this place where we were borned and let the country rot, if that is what UMNO is planning. We have nothing to lose, except for a place called home.

Some (especially the Malays) seeing such comment would naturally think that "You see, these people are not loyal to the country at all, so why keep them here?" But bear in mind, before you ask this question, think about what has the government did to the extend that people are losing faith and confidence in the country? The water will not have ripples without disturbance.

That is all i have to say and welcome to Indonesia 2.0

Pak Lah is happily holidaying in Australia while there are so much bickering at home. Pak Lah is just like the head of family who has no control over the chldren. What kind of leadership is it? Some of the children are real scoundrels. Some are spoilt and some are timid. In the end, the family is doomed!

Don't just blame the children. The father aint holier also. Shame shame shame on this BN government!!

Read Hisham statement carefully. While Najib is a boob and have no idea what he is talking about, Hisham clearly did not say he disagree with secularity.

Hisham guilt is that he is saying he needs and want to use Islam as a political tool. I don't know if he or his cousin is worst.

What this is all saying is that the next generation of UMNO leader have no answer for the long term issue of this country - Islamization, NEP, globalization etc.

Ultimately they will blame their problems on their forebears i.e, that they inherited the problem. Excuse is the name of the game for them and like the musical chair, eventually and maybe very soon, it will NOT be good enough.

I say the likes of KJ will ultimately beat the likes of Hisham and Najib because of this. KJ is very clear that he is using all sides to get into power. He ultimately plan to betray everyone in his rise to power. The problem is that that high-wire act either will succeed OR it will come crashing down on all of us AND WE PAY for his arrogance.

That is the real political reality of Malaysia tommorrow - a risky bet either way AND something none of us voted for.

HIS-Shamefuldin has once again shamefully demonstrated his “power”, only this time he did not foolishly waive the Kris at the MCA. Is he in support of his cousin or just to gain some more political mileage, or both? Oh yes, I forgot, he is running for UMNO Vice President next year, right? While I can’t blame the MIC which hitherto has been led by an incompetent opportunist, why are the MCA so afraid? So very afraid? At least for once, they must speak their minds (unless their brains are empty except for the $ sign).

U know why MIC and MCA leaders cant be truly bothered abt this secular vs islamic thingy?

To them MONEY is their religion. Same goes for the umnoputras.

Money is king. Money is god.

A SHAME!! Stop bickering on who came first, who has a better blade to wave, whether as “native” they should get better rights, FOCUS ON THE DAMN ECONOMY. It’s killing to know Malaysia is insignificant compared to the growth of our neighbours. After reading a few articles, I don’t see much of Malaysia heading the charts/tables as preferred country to invest. The Sun paper on 20.07.07 reported Singapore as the world’s hottest property market for 2007, with Japan and China among the top favourites as quoted by Jones Lang LaSalle. This is only one example. If Malaysia don’t buck up, it’ll soon be gobbled up by the growth in the region. Singapore, a small tiny island can beat Malaysia hands down. STOP harping on master/servant issues. Start playing on level field, if you are no good then bow, be humble and learn. No wonder why foreign grads don’t want to return to this stinking place led by the puny brains of the leaders.

Perhaps it is the golden opportunity for the MCA to advise their BN counterparts that the Chinese vote is not going to be delivered by the MCA due to this issue. MCA can then tell them “I told you so”.

Should there be a major diminution of votes for the current ruling party in the next general election, the usual post mortem analysis can already be written now !!!

Yes the heat is on and the No.1 CEO of the country is still on his 4th, 5th round of honeymoon - whole family in Aussie land?

As the Internal Security Minister, has he forgotten or purposely ignored that escalating crime rates in the country?

This man can't be more selfish and ignorant. I really hope he’s drafting his resignation letter.

Don’t expect MCA, MIC, Gerakan, etc. to leave BN - crumbs are better than nothing and wagging tail is an easy task in exchange of Tan Sri, Datuk Sri, Datuk, etc. titles and a piece of various tenders and contracts. Also, being in the good book of UMNO, party members of MCA, MIC, Gerakan, etc. know that their children are assured of goodies from the various ministries, in terms of securing scholarships and prized places in foreign and local public universities, access to APs, etc. So, Hisham and Najib, please, please, do not be mad with us - so said party members of MCA, MIC, Gerakan, etc. - we will agree with and do everything you said.

Kerishamudin is the worst among the Onn family. Make sure he would not become Malaysia's Prime Minister. Kick him out.

The suffering of people in this country is mainly due to the greed and selfishness of the politicians in power. My advice to them: if you make people suffer now, you and your family will experience the same later. Karma will take its cause ultimately, whether in this life or next. No one is exempted. It's not too late to do good deeds now.

MCA Youth is disturbed with the outburst by UMNO Youth Chief Dato’ Hishammuddin Tun Hussein published in Berita Harian today over the Islamic state and secular state issue. The tone and choice of words said are alarming and does not reflect the spirit of the Barisan Nasional.

We certainly cannot agree that opinions supported by factual events and legal documents, expressed by the leadership of the most senior partner to UMNO in the Barisan Nasional can be treated with such scorn.

Any major disagreement over this nature can be resolved by the top Barisan Nasional leadership without any issuing of warnings or any show of one upmanship. We are indeed disappointed that legitimate differing views are responded with threats. More so in a period where we are all reminded of the sacrifices and gentlemanly conducts of the Tunku, Tun Razak and Tun Hussein. We urge that goodwill n sheer common sense would prevail.

MP for Kota Melaka and MCA Central Committee member, YB Wong Nai Chee reiterated that MCA has made our stand abundantly clear and we have nothing more to add. Wong added that we don’t intend to engage in public outcry.

Remember in the general elections of 1999 the UMNO government and, in particular the MCA, demonised the DAP but taking large advertisments in the media that the DAP was getting into an unholy pact with the devil by teaming up with the PAS for the elections. The basis of this demonisation was that PAS trying to make Malaysia an Islamic state.

Well, what do we have now? MCA is not only in bed with a party trying to make Malaysia an Islamic state. It is already and still in bed with a party who has declared that it has made Malaysia an Islamic state. Being in bed who is effing who? Which is worse? MCA in bed with a party who has made Malaysia an Islamic state or DAP who has rejected PAS’s attempt to make Malaysia an Islamic state? DAP has declared it will not have any pact with PAS for the next elections. MCA is still very happy to sleep with the Islamic party.

Who is the worse hypocrite on this matter? Who is protecting their own political positions and sacrificing principles for office? Does anyone believe that MCA, in the face of their being in bed with the party which has made Malaysia an Islamic state, is defending the position of the non-malays and non muslims? MCA, such two faced liars!!!

WAKE UP, MALAYSIANS. THIS IS A CLARION CALL TO VOTE AGAINST THE BARISAN BUNCH OF CROOKS AND HYPOCRITES.

In the Financial Times report (21 July 2007) on the reinstatement of the Chief Juctice it had this comment:

"Images of bloodied lawyers being beaten by police shocked public opinion, prompting a media clampdown that undermined Mr. Mushaaraf's portrayal of himself as moderate leader committed to democratic reform and transparent government”.

This comment could very well apply to Mr. Abdullah Badawi. He poses as a liberal person, clean leader, a moderate Islamic and a democrat.

The facts tell a different story. As minister of the interior Badawi’s police is well known for their brutality. The number of deaths in police custody has never been properly explained. His “clean” leadership has been evidenced by the increasing corruption, including by and for members of his family. His “good and transparent government” has been undermined by the increasing number of government contracts (goodies) awarded without open tenders, especially to cronies and members of his family. His liberal and religious credentials are eroded by the clampdown of the media on debate on the Islamic state; the NEP; apostasy and the forcible abduction of babies from their mothers in the name of religion; by the forcible abduction of corpses in the name of religion. In almost every walk of life Badawi has created a false image of himself as a “good man” very different from the truth as shown by his behaviour actions and inactions. HE IS A FALSE MAN. In truth, if the misdeeds, actions and inactions of Badawi are closely examined, every instance will show his fundamentalist and extreme beliefs. He is covered with sins of commission and omissions. He is also a coward who will not take any hard decisions even for the good of the country but hide behind generalities.

In the light of all this how is it that the Malaysian people are still fooled by Badawi and, worse, continue to be happy to be fooled.

Why is it that the Malaysian people have less spine or are like jelly fish when to the Pakistanis to confront Badawi. Why do the people continue to accept a false leader? Why is it the people fail to call Badawi to account and, if found wanting, to boot Badawi out.

The warning by Hishamuddin is a signal by him to the UMNO Youth to get ready and be prepared to take violent and physical action against anyone who continues to debate the islamic state. He is getting ready to set the UMNO Youth dogs of war on the non malays!!

UMNO Youth have committed such violent acts many times before. Remember Acpet II meeting and the demonstration against the MCA leader in front of his house Etc.,?

22/07: Surat terbuka kepada Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO
Category: General Posted by: Raja Petra
