Chinese Forum "2019: Malaysia Faces Bankruptcy?"

Will Malaysia face the threat of bankruptcy in 2019? What will be the impact, implications and consequences of such a threat, especially in the Malaysian political landscape?

The DAP is organising a Mandarin forum on "2019: Malaysia Faces Bankruptcy?" in conjuction with my very own book launching ceremony.

The speakers of the forum are:

  • Dr Ong Kian Ming, Political Analyst
  • Jamaluddin Ibrahim, 988 Radio Deejay & Political Commentator
  • Tony Pua, DAP National Publicity Secretary

with a special opening address by DAP Parliamentary Opposition Leader, Lim Kit Siang

Date: 7/7/2010 (Wed)
Time: 8pm
Venue: Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, KL

Admission is free!

(My English book is on the way, once I find sufficient time to sit down and complete it ;-))

You refer to LKS as 'DAP Parliamentary Opposition Leader'. There should only be one 'Parliamentary Opposition Leader', not PKR's, not PAS's, not DAP's, but Parlimen's.

But still there are Ketuanan Melayu refusing to accept the possibility or shall I say the reality !
Some even claim Malaysia is still rich and resourceful or may be they want to remain disillusion until it is too late.
Still spending beyond their means just so Umno will retain its popularity among themselves and the corrupted ones will be able to continue digging into the national coffer until it is too late.
This is Malaysia !

Bankruptcy may not be the worst thing to happen to Malaysia. The worst thing to happen is actually the general falling behind of other countries. Is it better to be dead or live a long live of suffering and pain of disease?

If we go bankrupt but if policy is changed decisively as a result, given our big disapora, we can recover with their help. It will be painful but we will get there.

Again bankruptcy is not the worst thing.

Only a few months ago Najib talk all sort of crap like 10MP growth of 6% p.a., 'think can get 2% more' growth than forecasted by BNM etc.

When we started of the year with a bang of 10% and ended up the year at 4%, even the makcik in kampung is going to ask: How do we get 6%? Budak pun boleh kira in matematik. Najib belajar English kat England tidak tau ke?

Pratamad,

LKS is our parliamentary leader for the DAP MPs, there's nothing wrong with the designation.
