Khairy's Posterior Speaks

You know what? I'll confess to the fact that when I first heard of a Khairy Jamaluddin and what he was "achieving" behind the scenes with Pak Lah, I was mightily impressed and was in awe of what he may be able to achieve for the country. He was intelligent, he speaks the reformist agenda and I believed that we had a young progressive leader with great potential in the making.

Oooh... you cannot imagine how my heart breaks each time he spews his racially-biased rhetoric, and manipulates statistics and half-truths for political mileage within UMNO. And he is doing that with increasing frequency. To think that I was naive enough to believe that Khairy had the interest of the nation at heart.

Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek have both confirmed that the NEP is a Never Ending Policy. Now, Khairy, the UMNO Youth Deputy Leader not only wants to have it extended indefinitely, but also to raise the targets for equity achievement by Bumiputeras to 70% from the current 30%! And this was supported by the UMNO Youth Leader and Minister of Education, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.

Is he mad? Or has he lost all abilities to interpret statistical tables?

Based on the 9th Malaysia Plan published tables, which itself is in dispute, as at 2004 based on par value:
  • Bumiputeras own 18.9%
  • Non-Bumiputeras own 40.6%
  • Nominee Companies own 8.0%
  • Foreigners own 32.5%
Hence, assuming that foreigners continue to be more welcomed as investors in the country, more so than the country's non-bumiputeras, by seeking a 70% ownership for bumiputeras, Khairy Jamaluddin is effectively asking for the non-bumiputera community to transfer ALL equity assets to to bumiputeras! The end result will be:
  • Bumiputeras own 70%
  • Non-Bumiputeras own 0%
  • Nominee Companies own 0%
  • Foreigners own 30%
I'd like to think that despite having transformed himself into a Malay ultra, the above isn't what he had intended. But his statement clearly demonstrates either his lack of ability in interpreting statistics, or worse, his mischievious and irresponsible attempt to manipulate half-truths to remake himself as a communal hero.

Either way, Khairy's posterior has spoken.

I believe KJ is not stupid to believe that any of his extreme proposal will get anywhere. This is a show - fast-food for the masses. What does it really mean though?

1) He is an arrogant and self-righteous person of mediocre ability. He think he is manipulating everyone to get where he wants to go. He believes that once he gets there, he can do what he wants which he is arrogantly believes he knows what is the right thing to do and no one does. The problem is once he gets there, his mediocrity will mean that these words trap him - that he cannot do what he wants but rather have to toe the line of the things he said. In the end, he actually will become what he now think he is pretending to be. The UMNOputras knows this which is why they lap it up.

2) The method use is proof positive of mediocrity of his intellect. The fact he resort to take the vitriol to unrealistic and ridiculous level shows a definite bankruptcy of idea. This is a young men brought up with privilleged background - United College Singapore, Cambridge, access to corridor of power but ultimately what is really propelling him to here - marriage and nepotism. If he had any substance he would have allowed challenge to his position, to proof his mettle.

KJ problem is that he is a child of the NEP - too well schooled that the end justify the means. He has not understood that its should only rarely be the end justify the means. The fact that he has resorted often to this reasoning shows that this is a person that does not understand that what he is doing is enslaving the minds of his race especially those that need not to think so most and that is much worst than the slavery of poverty.

70%? Why not raised it to 100%? I'm sure even if 100% is reached, Khairi still says 101.1%. That's called GREED. I'm sure he wants NEP to operate indefinitely. But believe me, he is destroying the Malay race. They will be getting lazier, expecting UMNOputras to spoonfeed them. And they will become even more corrupt as well. Just makes me think if Khairy and UMNOputras have some kind of "physical disability". Even a disable person wants to be independent and does not hope anyone would to help him.(www.LifeWithoutLimbs.org) What Khairy has said just demonstrate that he wants UMNOputras and Bumiputras to remain LAZY and GREEDY. That's all. Nothing difficult to understand his intentions.

Would like to give some comment on some of the the UMNOputras speech during UMNO general assembly.

1) Khairy Jamaludin said “a former UMNO deputy president himself said there was no need for the NEP. He failed to realize that he was the richest UMNO putera back then.”

My comment: Are u trying to suggest that NEP only make you politicians richer instead of the really poor ones in kampungs? Shouldn’t NEP make POOR people richer and not rich people richer?

2) Datuk Azimi Daim (Youth Information Chief) asked the government to raise the bumiputra equity from 30% while Azlieza Azizan (Puteri UMNO representative) suggested to raise the bumiputra equity to 60%.

My comment: If we haven’t even reach the 30% bumi equity, why should we raise the bumi equity? Hello… 30% also u claim belum sampai target, u mau target 60%? U mimpi kah? Or izit because it’s only a matter of time before the government admit that there is a mistake and that the bumi equity has already pass the 30% mark? So, you must raise the bumi equity so that NEP can still be implemented to make u politicians even richer?

3) Dermawati Osman (UMNO Kedah) said “we hope the government will grant more scholarships to Malay students to produce more experts in various fields.”

My comment: Isn’t it enough that bumi students take 70% of JPA scholarships every year? Isn’t it enough that at least 7 out of 10 scholarship offers stated clearly that you must be a Malay in order to apply for it? Then how much you want? 90%?

4) Azlieza Azizan (Puteri UMNO) also said “we have been tolerating the private sector for too long. They apply strict regulations to make it difficult for us to find a place in the market”

My comment: More reasons why we shouldn’t give so much scholarships to Malay students! You have been relying on the government too much! Most of the post-NEP Malay generations failed to realize that they had it all too easy and don’t realize how high are the standards outside. The private sector apply strict regulations because they demand HIGH quality because only if they produce high quality products n services then only they’ll survive. Otherwise, they would have ‘gulung tikar’…

5) Fazi Dila Awang (UMNO Johor) said “In Chinese primary school, they allocate extra time to teach Math & Science in English. That’s why they can excel in the 2 subjects.”

My comment: The reason why they excel is because they are hardworking. Even before this when they teach in Malay, who are the ones scoring high marks in those subjects? Chinese. Even in sekolah kebangsaaan and sekolah menengah kebangsaan, who are usually the ones who will go upstage and receive prizes during hari anugerah cemerlang despite that more than 70% of the students are Malays? Non-muslim. Even in premier schools like Victoria Institution and St John Institution, there are at least 70% are Malay students. But when you look at their list of top 20 students in the each form (usually about 200 students in each form), at least 15 of them are non-Muslim. The one and only reason why non-Muslim seem to be ‘smarter’ than Muslim student is hardworking and NOT genetics. So you see, language is not a barrier.

I want to make it clear that I'm not a racist. I don't have anything against any race. I just demand for race equality, that's all...

since i'm far away from the bolehland, i was flabbergasted to hear those damning speeches made by my own so called "race protector". if it's really true that equity is being distributed, by whatever percentage, i'd be richer by now, and so does the other melayu. but dats not the case, its onli them them and them, the putras farkers.
no, i dont see ur comment racist at all teenage student. but perhaps, maybe u can replace the non-muslim word to non-malays on ur last comment, dat would be more politically correct, though our political masters are basically corrupted sh*t

I know how to increase bumi equity ownership to 100%. All non-bumi sell out and leave the country. Buy equity in other countries where we get to keep it without being hassled.
