1BLACKMalaysia: Wong Chin Huat Arrested

What media freedom? What tolerance? What reforms??!

Wong Chin Huat has been arrested for launching the 1BLACKMalaysia campaign on behalf of BERSiH this morning, asking all to wear black to mark the Thursday, 7th May when the illegal ursurper of the Perak Menteri Besar attempts to legitimise the Barisan Nasional government with an improper state assembly sitting.

We want "DEMOCRACY FIRST, ELECTIONS NOW!"

tony,

very very apt questions.

he expects us to walk in sync with his call for 1 Malaysia but if rhetoric remains just rhetoric, why should we.

PAINT IT BLACK
The Rolling Stones

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
I see a line of cars and theyre all painted black
With flowers and my love both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a new born baby it just happens evry day
I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door and it has been painted black
Maybe then Ill fade away and not have to face the facts
Its not easy facin up when your whole world is black

No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the settin sun
My love will laugh with me before the mornin comes

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
Hmm, hmm, hmm,…
I wanna see it painted, painted black
Black as night, black as coal
I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky
I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black
Yeah!

Media freedom only for UMNO, all the rest of us must tolerate whatever shit they churn out, and reform to their ways! What did you all think it was all about, huh??

HELP SAVE DEMOCRACY FROM BEING BLACK

White is white while black is black
Let's all get our basic democracy back
How can we rest even when we hit the sack
Unless we can have full democracy without any crack

They are scare of black then we dress black. I think their coat of color have to change its color if it is black. Are they going to catch a cat in black and a dog with black?
Same old mental same old thought. Reform and transform is only in the mouth pieces. After all what is 1 Malaysia concept they are talking about? Actually it is whose idea?
Is Mr. Wong Chin Huat a terrorist? Base on what possibility of allegation to put him behind bar?

To me, this is another own-goal by BN. Now a lot more people will show up in Ipoh tomorrow.
See you there!

PS: they targeted the "smallest fry" at the PC yesterday. Arresting one of your colleagues would have made even more hoo-ha. Hisham is a bit shy as the new home minister.

Wong Chin Huat is charged under the Sedition Act, not ISA - he is not being accused of terrorism but treason.

The issue is why the hard stance on the eve of them nearly grasping the brass ring? Its way too late to be worried about the publicity of what they are doing and another symbolic gesture, while gaining momentum, cannot make much difference when they are already at the bottom?

I keep thinking this could be just the natural behaviour of the political Mat Rempits of BN Perak is - they get out of control in a number of situation. In this case the 1BlackMalaysia is symbolism that just get them mad the same way Mat Rempits get mad when you challenge them just by a look.

The funny thing is now people nationally will always be asking whether we have 1Malaysia or 1BlackMalaysia in everything Najib does - essentially condemning it to a crappy idea permanently.

BN's strategy is to implicate anyone who opposed BN in a myriad of lawsuits - learnt from S'pore.

Bet you there will be road blocks leading into KL from the highways tomorrow as was the case during the various by-elections, Perak Assembly under the tree, Bersih march, etc. I actually asked the police one time, after the umpteen time that I have been stopped at the Lanchang rest area on the East Coast Highway, why they have nothing better to do when crime rates are rising. No answer and just a scowl. Well what can they say???

i always wear black until the government change.

Zambry only can win by using police force, but he lose the people heart.
If he not admit then why election is not been called?
the money cause for election is not so much compare to the "RASUAH"!

Timeless Quotes by Mahatma Gandhi:

1. "If co-operation is a duty, I hold that non-co-operation also, under certain conditions, is equally a duty."

2. "Non-co-operation is directed not against men but against measures. It is not directed against Governors, but against the system they administer. The roots of non-cooperation lie not in hatred but in jsutice, if not in love."

3. "Democracy must in essence, therefore, mean the art and science of mobilising the entire physical, economic and spiritual resources of all the various sections of the people in the service of the common good of all."

4. "You must be the change you wish to see in the world"

"Imagine Power To The People" John Lennon.
