To Fong Po Kuan,

Your speech at SS2 last nite is so convincing, simple yet hard hitting to the core issues for just less than 15 minutes.

Those who manage to record her entire speech last nite, please upload for all to view.

I believe high possibility that simple thinking voters (who are die-hard CMF fan) can be converted by Fong Po Kuan speech last nite.

I salute you, YAB (Yang Akan Berhidmat) Fong Po Kuan!!!!

Tony

It is you that amazed us! Our true beacon of hope, truth and justice. What are a few drops of rain compared to the struggle you lead for us? We go where Tony goes. Our only prayers and hope that you will become our YB and not to let us down. Bless you Tony!

its interesting to observe here how the syariah court is dealing with this issue. the take on this is that there is still freedom in main religion. unfortunately for her, she is jailed because she took on an unknown religion. It is clear from anecdotal evidence that those who embrace christianity instead, are protected because of leverage from the bigger community.

basically, the syariah court would like to show malaysian muslim that apostasy is not tolerated by prosecuting those who embrace "weaker" religion. this shows malaysian court is inconsistent in applying the rule of law. application of law seem to be dictated by public opinion or tolerance of public to court decision rather than the law itself, i.e. mob rule.

another side observation, it seem malaysia has relegated hinduism from main religion to irrelevant, deduced from the outcome of the Indian guy who died and later buried as muslim. the question wheter he was muslim or not is irrelevant because hindu has less voice in contemporary malaysia, and hence unable to protect itself from selective discrimination.

I am sure a muslim observers would agree that state has right to act in apostacy cases but selective prosecution is rightly unislamic. A law that cannot be exercised should not be a law in the first place. an unjust law is not a law at all.

“The serious business in Parliament affects not only us immediately but our future generations. We cannot afford to have MPs who remain silent just because it may incur the wrath of big brother – Umno,” another DAP chili padi, the 27-year-old Teo Nie Ching, debut for the DAP in the Serdang parliamentary seat

Many voted for Badawi in 2004 because he was "nice"

Many PJ voters voted CMF in year 2004, also becuase perceived as "nice"

Vote wisely for the future. Vote for a MP who DARE TO SPEAK IN THE PARLIMENT constructively without fear or favour and with responsibiity.

Please tell all your family members in PJ, all your friends in PJ, all your neigbour. Only 4 days left!!!!

We need an EFFECTIVE MP for PJU!!!!

We DON'T NEED a "nice" MP for PJU !!!!

WE NEED TONY PUA TO CURB THE RACIST KHAIRY JAMALUDIN IN THE PARLIAMENT!!!!!

We deserve better country NOT for these:-

1. INCREASED CORRUPTION

2. INCREASE CRIME - RAPE, ROB, KIDNAP, BREAK-INS, MAT REMPIT, MENACE

3. INCREASE RACIAL POLARISATION

4. INCREASE THREAT FOR PRESS FREEDOM

5. INCREASE LIE, by PM by mainstream media

6. INCREASE SEXISM

7. INCREASE LITTELE NAPOLEANS - Do business in Malaysia more difficult and more costly

8. INCREASE DISPARITY BETWEEN THE
ELITE MALAY AND POOR MALAY

9. INCREASE DISPARITY BETWEEN THE RICH CHINESE AND POOR CHINESE

10. INCREASE THE DISPARITY BETWEEN THE RICH INDIAN AND POOR INDIAN

11. KERIS WEILDING

I am impressed with Po Kuan, even though its only a couple of minutes. Will someone pls upload the full rcording. I think Youtube only allows clips of less than 10 min for each upload. Upload to chinese sites, such as tudou.com and 56.com allows longer clips of an hour or more each. Streaming maybe slow, but we cld download it for viewing. Just snippets are not enough!!!!!! We want more....

Enough of the 'see no evil", 'hear no evil' and 'speak no evil' politicians from MCA, Gerakan and MIC. We want MPs who can see and share our pain, hear us loud and clear, and who can speak without fear or favour in the parlimen. If I have to do without good drains, stuck with pot holes, and have more toll roads stuff down my throat as a result, so be it. Like the chinese sayig goes, better to endure short pain, then to have pain for all eternity....
Enough is enough!!!!!!!!

Dear Tony,

Hope your colleagues can use this simple but effective fact in your ceramahs.
Tony and Khairy both came from Oxford and the similarity ended there.
Tony made his millions before entering politic to be the moral voice of conscience.
Khairy enters politic to make his millions to serve himself. If he is smart he should follow Tony's footstep. Make your millions first and then u can rank as Tony"s equal. That is the difference.

Hi James,

I strongly suggest that you put up this video clip to Tony's blog (Question time: PJ Utara's Tony Pua vs Chew Mei Fun):

http://www.malaysiakini.tv/video/15559.html

Let the voters judge for themselves who is the better MP.

Thank you.

BN ads in TVs have clearly insulting Yang Di Pertuan Agong by saying a vote for BN is equal to vote for Malaysia. Malaysia is a nation owned by all the rakyat regardless of their political affiliation under the Agong. No political party in Malaysia can claim they are representing Malaysia under whatever circumstances except the Agong and the cabinet appointed by Agong.

BN is just a political party and they have no right to claim they are representing Malaysia. Malaysia is not a communist country like China with absolute power is given to the Communist Party to rule China.

A vote for a party like BN is not equal to a vote for Malaysia. BN is challenging and insulting the legal status of the Agong as the head of Malaysia.

tony, dap can also put up a projector to screen videos like the interview with CMF during ceramahs at night. I guess this will help a lot rather than just speaking.

On the lighter side, Tony has turned into a superstar already. He always has a smile on his face.
