Where's The Credibility?

On 20 January 2009, Prime Minister in-waiting said:
Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders should break out of their comfort zones and reorientate their approach to be constantly in tune with the people's aspiration, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today.

Calling on BN leaders to raise to the occasion, the deputy prime minister also urged them to rearrange their strategies and resolve to make changes not only to themselves but also to the party for the sake of the people and country.

Can you believe him?

(I'm biased of course, as I was charged in court for lighting up candles in public without permit within 3 days of him making the statement)

Now we have the new Chairman of Election Commission, telling us with a straight face that the nomination date, is set more than a month away on 29 March has "nothing to do with the UMNO General Assembly" that is scheduled to be held from 24 to 28 March.
He was quick to deny the scheduled dates were made to accommodate the Umno party polls in late March, saying the law required the by-elections to be held within 60 days of the seats being vacant, which falls on April 11.

"The date was chosen for the convenience and comfort of all parties and not with any political considerations," said Abdul Aziz, who assumed the post six weeks ago.

He said the situation in Perak was still tense after a government switch and the time-frame for the Bukit Gantang by-election would allow all parties to "cool off", adding he was hopeful there would be a high voter turnout despite polling day being a Tuesday.
Yeah, right. He's an UMNO stooge, no question about it.

Oh, and BN reform? My foot.

What credibility in the first place? Do they have ANY to start with?

BTW, remember what the MM Lee of S'pore said: There is no level playing field of any government helping opposition to win votes (at least, he is frank enough to admit the fact). As opposition, you just have to work harder.

Ai yah, Bee End/UMNO expect to lose mah. So the sick (sixth) PM who is reporting for work on April's Fools Day must try to reduce Pakatan's majority loh. So, Paktan has to work harder to convince people to take half-day off, go back and vote-loh.

DPM will blame PM AAB for teaching him to lie-lie-lie. DPM will say, isn't that the job of PM? PM = Post Mental.

PM AAB will be least favoured PM in history.

PM in waiting will be most hated in history. We shall not forget who held the kris & said will bathe it in chinese blood when as UMNO Youth Chief.

RPK has posted a Malay Mail article on his Corridors of Power. In that article, there is clear mention of 'RPK's support of Perak’s Sultan Azlan Shah'.

http://mt.m2day.org/2008/content/view/18084/84/

I do not think RPK would have put that up on MT, if he did not agree with it himself.

So:

1) The Sultan really is innocent and did not accept bribes and was "not" forced into the decision?

2) A decision he made with the best interest of the people of Perak in mind?

Will RPK answer the 2 questions above specifically in time or avoid it forever? If he does not know, why post that article on MT?

Looks like Pakatan Rakyat credibility is down the drain and will lose many voters come next general election (including yours truly). Pakatan lack consistency and not honest!! Sorry to be blunt, but that is the facts. The following provide very clear evidence of Pakatan dismal integrity (if it has any before)

1. If Pakatan feels that the appointment of new MP for Perak is unconstituitional, why not sue Sultan Azlan, (the right thing to do legally as per Karpal Singh).

2. Only reason not suing the Sultan, is because ANwar worry of backfire due to perceived "derhaka" issue. If that the case, Anwar is really a snake, talam dua muka. Under this situation, why is Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Husam, and Hadi Awang keep silence on this? All these Pakatan will naturally be perceived as snake us now!!!

3. Why no one from Pakatan support Karpal Singh for doing the right legal things to sue Sultan Azlan?

4. If PR refuse to sue the Sultan, why ask Nizar and the gangs waste time to protest here and there and refuse to vacate? PR should not waste our time protesting the Perak take-over by BN if all the Pakatan leaders (with exception of Karpal Singh) do not do the right thing.

5. Lim Guan Eng openly welcome the BOTA ADUN, Nasaruding and yet less than 2 weeks condemn hopping. And Lim Guan Eng openly lie by saying he has always against hopping!! This is a serious matter from a Sec Gen of DAP. The UMNO/BN will use this in next election. Imagine BN put poster that Lim Guan Eng lie!!!. Can you see the impact?

6. Please we voted PR for a change and we certainly do not want snake with no credibilty like what the PR doing now!

7. We never like UMNO/BN, but equally we also do not want PR who is as bad as UMNO/BN!

Please call as spade a spade than wayang here wayang there.

Even PT blogger, RPK has written against the PR leaders recently.

Please do not switch on denial syndrome mode and head on for immediate corrective measures. I

It take great courage to be remorseful and apoligise to us, as voters who supported you in March 2008.

I have to say something about elections in Singapore. Being in Singapore for 15 years and counting. I can say that election there is even more fair with no phantom voters, vote rigging whatsoever.

What Grand Old LKY say is that PAP would never lower down the standard just to let opposition wins. Frankly, people there are still supportive of the PAP and voting for oppositions so as to have oppositions, nothing more

our country seriously need a 2 party system...desperately i would say.

if only between 2 evils...we will have to decide to choose the lesser evil. in this case, BN (bigger evil) & PR (lesser evil)...agree? when PR become the bigger evil, then choose BN the lesser evil. this will go on in every GE. however, BN do not accept this concept & for whatever reason in their 3rd grade brain now thinks that malaysia belongs to them only (that they can inherit) & not the people. this is not modern politics. this is cavemen politics.
