Cocky Khairy

Wah, Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin today launched a "scathing attack on opposition leaders."

"Opposition leaders Lim Kit Siang, Abdul Hadi Awang, Anwar and Nasharuddin Mat Isa are cowards who are afraid to face the voters."

That's big talk for someone who hides behind a communal party who hides under a skirt of repressive laws such as the printing and publications as well as the internal security act. This has yet to include all the other unjust laws and regulations which places purportedly independent organisations under the purview of the Government such as the judiciary, the anti-corruption agency and the election commission.

When one intends to contest a duel armed to the teeth with the latest weaponry against a helpless and unarmed party, can you blame the latter for forfeiting the contest? Who's the real coward in the picture?

I certainly look forward to "lively" debates with Khairy in the future, and hopefully he won't be too much of a coward to turn down the invites. ;)

Khairy is just a cock out of his cage to "coooooo-coooooooo-coooooooooooooooooooooooooo". That's all. After that, he is back to his cage to be a coward again.

Nothing unusual about him. He normally does this in the morning. :p

Cocky? Yes he is unfair and I sense a bit of overconfidence. Are people worried about his over-confidence in a unfair system in his favour that they call him cocky?

His personal attack on the opposition reeks of unscrupolous opportunism but calling him cocky says that we are willing to get to his level too.

There seems to be a tendency to resort to the lowest common denominator set by the likes of KJ. And that is what we should be more worried about. His unscrupulousness lessen not just himself but rather others too.

No doubt a good solution if not the best solution to KJ way is to damage him as overconfident and far less capable than he seem which cocky implies. However, we should be reminded that we are better that we strive to be better even if he does not or else we may deserve his kind of leadership...

We always say 'The empty vessel makes most noise'...if not because his father-in-law is the PM, I bet this cock is still living in kampung selling pisang goreng...a typical corrupted UMNO crony...I'm not impressed at all!

"I bet this cock is still living in kampung selling pisang goreng" is not polite.

A much more polite way of saying is "I bet this cock is still tending goats in his kampung in Bangladesh"

It never amazes me how someone who's never been elected by any Ali, Ah Beng or Muthu in this country has accumulated so much power. He's not a minister, not an MP or Senator, not a state assemblyman, has no official position whatsover in the Government of Malaysia.

Rumour has it even some Menteri Besar and Cabinet ministers are scared of him...

Nothing to fear about him. When his papa-in-law gets the sack in the not too distant future, off he goes too, together with his 4th floor bully-boys

It's time to give more power to the opposiiton parties. A democratic country needs a strong opposition to monitor the government in power. This cock should stay at Oxford to study moral and never come back to this country to generate unrest to the nation. What a disgusting and shameful boy!

I was looking for a LOST cock that belonged to my neighbour's neighbour.
I stood on top of the first neighbour and yelled: Khairy!
And the LOST cock came back obediently to my neighbour's neighbour and APologised he's got LOST on the way to MITI to get the APs...:(

PS: Tony, can I be your Second in the debate with this Cock? My forefathers traded in cockerel and heneken, though I don't know how this is a benefit to our teAm!
