Ong Tee Keat Gratefully Plays Dumb?

In a swift response to being dragged into the hole dug by fellow Barisan Nasional colleague, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat has the following to say on his blog:
If we truly uphold the spirit of democracy, we should respect differing views, even if we cannot concur with . The Deputy Prime Minister can voice his views on the results of the Bukit Gantang by-election, and so can I.

I see nothing wrong for him to express his observations and views. Nonetheless, I insist that the fund allocations pledged or disbursed to the people during campaigning should be viewed as the Government's obligation to taxpayers. The issue of gratefulness does not arise at all. This was clearly stated by me when I publicly made my comments on the issue.

What a disappointing cop-out after a "brave" statement issued by a party youth leader just earlier in the day. Nobody questions the concept of "respecting differing views" but does it mean that if UMNO comes out with a racist statement, we should not openly condemn the statement? Does it mean that when UMNO asks for a "bloodbath", we should just timidly say "we agree to disagree"? Where's the "Courage to Change"? Or the "Creating New Values" as prominently highlighted on Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat's blog?

And worse, the MCA President has yet to answer clearly Muhyiddin's statement saying "MCA president Ong Tee Keat had found nothing wrong with [Muhyiddin's "ungrateful"] statement"! So is Muhyiddin talking crap? Or does Ong Tee Keat actually concur with Muhyiddin on the Chinese being "ungrateful", or more politely, "unappreciative"?

It appears as if the new DPM has dug a hole not only for himself, but also for his BN subordinate, and the MCA President is now willingly taking the jump!

  3. HOW TO PLAY DUMB WITHOUT RUM

For those who want to play dumb
They have to suck their own thumbs
To keep off the loud sounds of drums
Trying to be drunk without drinking any rum

Who really gives a SH1T what this miserable excuse of a politician think or say. He is a disgrace and MCA has been losing the Chinese support and will continue to lose support like Gerakan. They will end up just as irrelevant because the foundation based on racist policies has no place in todays Malaysia.

PR has more relevance to all Anak2 Bangsa Malaysia than UMNO and component parties that make up BN. These people are third class politicians who just cannot see their amargeddon because of their greed and corruption; the easy path to easy money and power. All I can say is enjoy while it last. Judgement day will come and I would celebrate when the whole lot of them are thrown into jail to rot and their ill gotten gains returned to the people.

To Tony and all his political colleagues, I can only wish you smooth sailing and success in the next GE. Wipe the slate clean with these morons.

I am entitled to my views okay, so here's my 2 cents' worth - Muhyiddin, you are good for nothing. Balik kampunglah.

  11. normal for MCA and MIC to stomach nonsense from UMNO and sell out the rights of their race.

after all they are the under dogs !!!

If OTK says , "Malays are ungrateful" will Muhyiddin write the same dialogue in his blog ?

If OTK is accepting DPM statement in that level of sentivity then he should bear the braunt of non Chinese support for MCA. How can perceive the press statement in that direction and lable as not wrong so to speak. What the in the wider perspective that the Indians and even Malays voted for PR? Are they not ungrateful? What 1Malaysia is BN talking about. Enough is enough. All Chinese should solidly give 100% support to PR

  14. Nothing has changed. Even when he was the deputy minister to Hishamuddin in Youth and Sports ministry he told us in the visit there that he only takes care of non-muslims and "dan lain-lain" and whatever his sham pass over to him. Still we are surprised how he managed to survive and be promoted. So here he is today as head of mca but still the same lap dog, what a sad day for the Chinese community.

Actaully it was a golden opportunity for OTK to do Muhiyiddin a favour. Now the issue is does Muhiyiddin know how to 'balas budi' for OTK. Since they think they are so smart to think they knows better than anyone else the meaning, someone should ask OTK whether he think Muhiyiddin know how to 'balas budi' OTK or not and what OTK is going to ask for that 'balas budi'.

Biarlah MCA and UMNO berbalas-balas budi sesama mereka dalam lubang neraka nanti.

Orang Cina sama seperti orang lain di Malaysia, malah di serata dunia, ingin negara yang aman dan selamat, pemerintah yang adil, sistem persekolahan dan perubatan yang terbaik demi untuk masa depan anak and cucu mereka.

MCA and UMNO masih berbalas-balas budi sesama mereka? Baguslah tu sementara orang Cina undi DAP, Keadilan dan PAS demi Satu Malaysia yang kukuh dan sejahtera!!!

They are irrelevant already, they just don't want to accept that and just don't realize that.
MCA, MIC, Gerakan etc etc are only good at doing one thing and that is what the Datuk Seri just did...play dumb.
