This is an indirect defense to sent the message to Pak Lah and at the same time trying to hold on to the voters.

OKT can sense that politics in Chinese community is changing. In fact it changed in the last election already. Essentially there are two groups of voters in Chinese community. These two group both want a enlightened and progressive government. However one group, wealthier and better off, believed it was worthwhile to give the Pak Lah a chance. The other group, lower income and more sceptical, thought he is a poor leader and will not fufill his promise. In the last election, the Chinese voters was splits along this line. Now the view of the second group is prevailing with issues such as crime, toll hike etc.

Whether MCA will lose these seats depending on them getting UMNO stop their rhetorics for power and back to focussing on the issues that are affecting them close to their homes..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37045477.post-1168508112513053562007-01-11T17:35:00.000+08:002007-01-11T17:35:00.000+08:00How come educated, middle-class and above voters f...How come educated, middle-class and above voters from PJ Utara still stick to BN/BCA like leeches, inspite of all the complaints and unfair treatments?

BN/MCA has nothing to fear from brain-dead voters.
